Welcome to the world of Horses for Heroes! We are a non-profit registered charity network of therapists and coaches. We offer something extraordinary at various locations in Germany: horse-assisted coaching and therapeutic riding - for people with special needs, ongoing, chronic illnesses or learning and behavioural disorders.
Why equine-assisted coaching? Horses have a direct, positive influence on us humans. They help us to build relationships, promote our communication skills, and increase the joy of life and new physical abilities. All people who deal with horses feel this effect - people with evident self-confidence also experience a particularly positive influence on their self-confidence and sense of worth through horse-assisted coaching. Why Therapeutic Riding? Riding is a sport: regular riding increases the strength of the upper body, improves balance and trains coordination; Spasms can be alleviated. Those who regularly participate in therapeutic riding take a specific step against loneliness and isolation. Dealing with the horses speaks to us physically, mentally, emotionally and socially, creates a sense of achievement and increases well-being and happiness. In short: horses can heal souls. |
