Sometimes your life changes in a second. Just like almost 20 years ago, when an extraordinary boy was born: A rare disease, which no doctor has been able to diagnose to this day, accompanied him from birth. So a long road full of ups and downs for his family and the boy himself - in terms of health and emotionally. Horses bring strength and confidence The horses by his side always helped this special boy from the start. The proximity to the gentle animals, handling them, riding them and spending time with his family with the horses gave him and everyone else strength and confidence. So began a lifelong therapy in the stable. Horses for Heroes: A gift of experience Handling horses has positively affected this unique boy and his needs: Horses for Heroes was founded from lifes experience and became a young, non-profit initiative. We are concerned about giving the gift of horses to other people in a comparable situation. The result: horse-assisted coaching and therapeutic riding in a Germany-wide network of therapists and coaches. |
